SOUTH WEST WORLD HERITAGE TOUR

Come and explore one of the World's last wilderness frontiers, South West Tasmania. This World Heritage listed National Park has international significance, comprising of over 4500 sq kms of pristine wilderness, no roads , no civilisation, just pure wilderness.

Departing Cambridge Airport, your aircraft will fly you to Melaleuca past Mount Wellington, over the Huon Valley, Mt Picton and then you enter the South West World Heritage Area passing Federation Peak before landing at Melaleuca.

Once landing at Melaleuca, you'll board one of our boats, for a boat trip on Melaleuca Inlet, being able to witness the wildnerness from a viewpoint that you are unable to appreciate by air or by foot

Returning to Melaleuca, we'll take an opportunity to visit the Denny King Bird Hide, and try and catch a glimpse of the endangered Orange Bellied Parrot over refreshments.

We will then board our aircraft, and return to Cambridge Airport, via the South Cost of Tasmania, passing the Ironbound range, South East Cape, Bruny Island and finally the City of Hobart.

This tour is approximately 4 hours in duration and is all inclusive. Departs daily at 09:00 and 13:30

A DAY IN THE WILDERNESS

Take an unforgettable full day tour, exploring the pristine waterways and wilderness of Bathurst Harbour/ Port Davey. This significant Marine Reserve is a waterway larger than Sydney Harbour, with 800 metre mountains rising from the sea.

Departing Cambridge Airport, your aircraft will fly you to Melaleuca past Mount Wellington, over the Huon Valley, Mt Picton and then you enter the South West World Heritage Area passing Federation Peak before landing at Melaleuca.

On the ground at Melaleuca, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the local area, including visiting the local tin mine, a visit to see the Orange Bellied Parrot at the Denny King Bird Hide and some walks around the local area.

Afterwards, we'll go onboard one of boats for a boat trip up the Melaleuca Inlet, into Bathurst Harbour, a waterway the size of Sydney Harbour, which has been untouched by civilisation.

You will visit the untouched Celery Top Islands, take walks in the wilderness and enjoy lunch whilst breathing some of the cleanest air in the World.

Late in the afternoon, we'll then board our aircraft, and return to Cambridge Airport, via the South Cost of Tasmania, passing the Ironbound range, South East Cape, Bruny Island and finally the City of Hobart.

Tour is approx 8 hours in duration and in all inclusive. Departs daily at 09:00.

SOUTH WEST WINTER SPECIAL


During the off season come and explore one of the World's last wilderness frontiers, South West Tasmania on this special tour. The World Heritage listed South west National Park is of international significance, comprising of over 4500 sq km's of pristine wilderness, no roads , no civilisation, just pure wilderness.

This tour follows the same intenary as the South West World Heritage flight, however has an extra hour on the ground at Melaleuca, and includes lunch.

Tour is approx 5 hours in duration and in all inclusive. Departs daily at 10:00 from May to October.

ROARING 40'S OCEAN KAYAKING
Wilderness on Water. Explore the remote wilderness and waterways of Port Davey, a World Heritage listed National Park and a Marine reserve. Tours from 2 to 6 days in duration. Available November to April. You will have the opportunity to take walks in the wilderness, stroll amongst ancient Huon pines, sojourn up spectacular rivers as well as learn of the flora, fauna and cultural heritage of this lost world.
